Webster Parish offers two RV parks. Frank Anthony Park is located in Springhill (northern part of parish), while the newly modernized City of Minden RV Park is located in the southern portion of our parish.

The Webster Parish C&V Commissioners realize securing a location is only a small part of your planning process. Much time and careful planning must go into your special event. Don't worry. Allow us! Local service providers will work to accommodate your needs, right down to the last detail. The Webster Parish Commission is also here to lend a helping hand. The Frank Anthony Park is located in the heart of Springhill and is within easy walking distance of Historic Downtown Main Street, four churches, the Civic Center, two shopping centers, schools and the football stadium. It has a meeting facility with auditorium style seating for 775 people, and banquet style for 300.

Area lakes and bayous provide excellent opportunity for fishing and water sports. Lake Erling is located 7 miles to the north. Dorcheat Bayou, one of Louisiana's Scenic Waterways, lies to the east of town while Bayou Bodcau is to the west.

Minden is a beautiful town of some 15,000 in population, including a historical business district with original brick streets as well as a historical residential district. The homes include Antebellum and Victorians. Special arrangements can be made for group tours upon request.

You will enjoy exploring unique and interesting shops. If water sports or fishing appeal to you, take a drive south to Lake Bistineau. To the north of Minden, located in the beautiful Kisatchie Forest, is the Caney Lakes Recreation Area. Here you will find a beach and picnic area, superb fishing, plus walking and bike trails.
